Featured artist

Christian Webb

Christian is a fine art photographer and teacher, known for his growing series of ‘typologies’ – a collection of images along a certain theme. The exhibition will show Christian’s progression from cataloguing more recognisable subject matter, to themes that have been presented as more abstract shapes made up from multiple photographs – less recognisable as everyday scenes and objects.  Taking inspiration from the Abstract Impressionists and Colour Field painters of the 1940s and 50s, his work is bursting with colour and is accessible to all.
